Yiyi Expressway project mainly includes the southern section of Yibin Ring Expressway, the main line section from Yibin to Yiliang and related interworking line projects ‌. Among them, the southern section of Yibin Ring Expressway has a total length of 28.3 kilometers, starting from Yibin to Suiqing Expressway interconnecting, and ending at Zhaochang Junction of Yibin Ring Expressway west. The main line section from Yibin to Yiliang starts from Zhaochang Junction in the west section of Yibin Ring Expressway, passes through Gao County, Junlian County, and ends in Jianzi Mountain, Junlian County, Junlian County, with a total length of 100.8 kilometers, which has been built and opened to traffic on December 31, 2021.
