The Phase I project of the Chengdu Antegene Biovaccine Industrialization for Pneumonia Vaccine has a total construction area of 33,360.45 square meters and is located in the Tianfu International Bio-Town. The workshop is used for the R&D and production of multiple vaccines including the 13-valent pneumonia vaccine, which provides immunity against Streptococcus pneumoniae, the number one pathogen worldwide. It is a revolutionary biomedical public health product with high social and economic value. After completion, the project is expected to break the monopoly of Pfizer and GlaxoSmithKline on the high-end vaccine market and reduce the medical costs for the public.
