The first phase of the Guiyang Rail Transit Line 3 begins at Tongmu Ridge Station, located north of Huaxi District's Ring Expressway. It runs along Qingxi Road and Huaxi Avenue to the north, passing through Taohua Village, Huaxi Park, and Guizhou University. After exiting Zaojiaojing Station, it turns west along Taijin Line, passing by Taici Bridge, Huaguoyuan, Huansha Road, and Qianlingshan Park before turning east onto Beijing Road. The route then continues east along Xintiandao, passing Wenquan Road and Guizhou Normal University. At Dongfeng Town, it turns north, travels along Mabai Road, and ends at Luowai Station, generally running from southwest to northeast.
