The Dali-Ruili Railway is a national first-class single-track electrified railway for both passenger and freight transport, connecting Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture and Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province, China. It is part of the China-Myanmar corridor as outlined in the National Medium and Long-Term Railway Network Plan (2004 edition) and is an important component of the Western Line of the Trans-Asian Railway. Construction of the Dali-Baoshan section began in June 2008, followed by the commencement of the Baoshan-Ruili section on December 1, 2015. The Dali-Baoshan section was opened for operation on July 22, 2022. The railway spans a total length of 330 kilometers from Dali Station in the east to Ruili Station in the west, with 27 stations along its route, and has a designed operational speed of 140 kilometers per hour.
