The capacity expansion and reconstruction project of Wuhu to Xuancheng section of Anhui - Jiangxi Railway starts from Wuhu City in the north and ends in Xuancheng City in the south, passing through many areas of Wuhu City, including Yijiang District, Nanling County, Wuhu County (now Bay 沚 District) and Xuanzhou District of Xuancheng City ‌.
