Weldon Group and the School of Chemistry at Southwest Jiaotong University signed a cooperation agreement to explore intelligent drone inspection, data analysis and building protection applications.
On 16 May, Weldon Group and the School of Chemistry at Southwest Jiaotong University signed an industry–academia–research cooperation agreement during the university development forum.
The partners will establish a joint laboratory and explore intelligent drone inspection, data analysis and practical applications for building protection. The cooperation is intended to connect academic research with real project needs.
Research topics will include intelligent inspection, defect recognition, data analysis and lifecycle maintenance. The partners will use project experience and laboratory research to test practical workflows.
Through continued collaboration, the two sides aim to accelerate the transfer of research results and support safer, more durable and more intelligent building protection.
