Foundation and Early Development

  • 2002The company was formally established. Weldon built its first factory in Cuqiao on a 10-mu site; by 2004, output had reached a leading level in southwest China and the sales network covered the region.
  • 2003Weldon established university–industry partnerships with Chengdu Engineering Corporation, Sichuan University and Southwest Jiaotong University, and founded its R&D center.
  • 2005Weldon established one of southwest China’s early modern manufacturing bases in Qingliu Town, Chengdu.

From Materials to System Solutions

  • 2009Weldon entered the railway waterproofing market, expanding its business nationwide.
  • 2010Weldon expanded into metro and underground utility-tunnel markets across China.
  • 2012The Weldon brand was created, followed by strategic partnerships with several leading real-estate companies.

Quality-Driven Growth

  • 2013Branches were established in Yunnan, Guizhou, Chongqing and northwest China, extending operations across southwest and northwest China.
  • 2014Weldon advanced intelligent manufacturing in southwest China, commissioning automated coating and polymer-material lines at its Pengzhou base and entering the waterproofing refurbishment market.
  • 2016Weldon launched a finance–industry collaboration model, continuing to challenge traditional marketing practices in the sector.
  • 2017Weldon accelerated research and innovation, building capabilities in patents, construction methods and data analysis.

Technology and Integrated Services

  • 2018A skills-training academy was established and approved as a 040 vocational-skills appraisal and training base.
  • 2019Weldon introduced integrated product series, established an overseas business division and began its global expansion.
  • 2020Branches were established in Shanghai, Qingdao and Zhuhai, alongside multiple industry honors.
  • 2021Weldon continued to improve its manufacturing-base network, supporting material R&D, production and engineering services.
