The Chongqing Youth Activity Center is located east of Chongqing Garden Expo Park. It covers approximately 150 mu and has a total floor area of about 47,000 square metres.
The Chongqing Youth Activity Center is located east of Chongqing Garden Expo Park. It covers approximately 150 mu and has a total floor area of about 47,000 square metres. The development consists of Building 1, the Youth Palace, and Building 2, comprising the children's library in Block A and shared facilities in Block B.
The two buildings are arranged like the wings of a butterfly, separated by lakes and gardens. Building 1 contains multifunctional spaces for practical experiences, teaching and training, calligraphy and painting exhibitions and related activities. Building 2 includes a children's library, stage, lecture hall and training guidance centre.
The centre was planned as a public cultural service space for young people, combining historical continuity, social education, reading development, public services, group activities, public-interest education and international exchange.
