The new business building of Wulong Maternal and Child Health Hospital, also known as Wulong Women's and Children's Hospital, is located on Nanbin Road in Wulong District, east of the hospital's existing obstetrics and gynaecology campus. It has a total floor area of 18,683 square metres, 13 floors and 150 beds. The obstetrics and gynaecology and paediatrics campuses were planned to move into the new building.
After the relocation, the hospital will provide outpatient and inpatient services in gynaecology, obstetrics and paediatrics. Planned specialist services include traditional Chinese medicine rehabilitation, postpartum and pelvic-floor rehabilitation, a child health centre, a postnatal care centre and vaccination clinics.
The new building adds major medical equipment including magnetic resonance imaging, CT and advanced colour Doppler ultrasound systems. These facilities improve the care environment for women and children and expand access to healthcare services across Wulong District.
