The Wuxi–Zhenping Expressway is the Chongqing–Shaanxi section of the Anlai Expressway (G6911), a connecting route of the Yinchuan–Baise Expressway (G69). It starts in Wuxi County, Chongqing, and ends in Zhenping County, Shaanxi.
The project is the first direct expressway connection between Chongqing and Shaanxi. It forms the northern section of the Chongqing “three rings, twelve radial routes and seven connecting lines” expressway plan: Zhenping, Shaanxi – Wuxi, Chongqing – Jianshi, Hubei. Once open, it reduced the journey between Wuxi and Zhenping from approximately three and a half hours to less than one hour.
