W9 Bituminous Membrane Protection is intended for waterproofing, protection and ageing-resistant renovation of bituminous waterproofing membrane roofs. It is suitable for existing membrane roofs with ageing, cracks, looseness or localized peeling. By adding a new protective coating over the existing membrane, it addresses continuing membrane ageing and performance decline caused by long-term sun exposure, helping extend service life.
Primary Functions
It enables direct protective renovation where the existing membrane remains suitable for repair, without completely removing and rebuilding the roof. It helps reduce construction waste, installation time and project cost.
Core Advantages
The coating has a peel strength of at least 0.6 MPa to the membrane, artificial weathering resistance of 3,000 hours, and suitability for environments from -50°C to 150°C. Its flexibility accommodates membrane thermal expansion and contraction while improving waterproofing and ageing resistance.
